RETURN POLICY

  • How to return a product?

Before returning an item, please check our Return conditions stated in the questions below in the Returns and Refunds Policy Of Cart Rollers Nigeria, to make sure your item is eligible for return.

You have 7 calendar days to notify us that you want to return your product after its reception.

You agree that we would not be liable for any regulatory or bank charges on your refund. These include but are not limited to COT, VAT and any future charges imposed by the government on such transactions.

If your return meets all the requirements, your returns can be initiated via our Online Return Form.

Returns are easy. Simply follow the 7 steps stated below:

  1. Check if your product meets all requirements
  2. Login to your account
  3. Go to “my order” and click “Return”
  4. Fill out the Return Form
  5. Pack the items and attach the return form
  6. Arrange the product retrieval with Cart Rollers
  7. Your return will go through our quality check
  8. If validated, you will get refunded

You can connect on our website and fill in our Online Return Form. Simply log in and go to “My Orders”, and open the last order by clicking on “Order details”. If your product is eligible for a return, you will see a button “Return Product”. Click on it to start the return process.
Don’t forget to fill the paper return form and pack it with your product to return.

  • How much time do I have to return a product to CartRollers?

All items sold on Cart Rollers, under certain conditions, can be returned within a period of 7 days from delivery date.
Example: If I received my product on Monday 1st, I have until next Sunday 7th to contact Customer Service.

NOTE: You have 7 days to notify us of your return online or by calling Customer Service, from the day you received your purchase.
For defective items, note that you have 7 days to return your product. After this period, we do not accept returns. We advise you to contact the manufacturer if the product has a warranty.

What are the conditions for returning an item?

Requirement for a valid procedure

  • Proof of purchase (order number, invoice, etc)
  • The reason for return has to be valid and return acceptance conditions met (check out below)
  • Return method
  • Refund method that you would like and the necessary information associated (bank account number, etc.)
  • Return form returned with the product

Should there be any item damaged due to our transportation, please contact our customer service within 24 hours for claim purposes. Remember to send back all items including the free promotional items that came with the purchase. If forgotten, the return will not be accepted.

Once your product is retrieved we will perform a quality check.
If the quality check is successful, we will refund you according to your requested refund method. This will happen within 10 days starting from when your return request was submitted.
Note that if the quality check is unsuccessful, you will not be refunded and will be sent back your product.

We will arrange a pick-up at your convenience within 48 hours after you submit the return request.

Note that for pick-up, we will make 2 scheduled attempts.

However, after 2 pick-up attempts, we will cancel the return procedure and you will not be able to return your product to us anymore.

  • How do I track my return status?

You can track return status using the tracking number provided to you by our logistics partner or via our Tracking tool on your ‘Account Page’

  • How long is the quality evaluation process?

Refund process only begins after our Quality Check team has completed the evaluation of your returned item.

We will make sure that your product meets all the requirements for a return as stated in our policies.

This quality evaluation process may take up to 24-48 hours, and the return timescale is as follows:

  • Lagos – 8 days
  • COD areas outside of Lagos – 14 days
  • UPS shipped and retrieved products – 21 days

REFUND POLICY

  • If my refund gets validated, how and when will I get reimbursed?
  • Refund process begins after we have completed the evaluation of your returned product. From the day you submitted your return request, this quality evaluation process may take up to 8 days for Lagos, 15 days outside of Lagos. We will send you an email notification once return examination completed.To process your refund quickly, you have the option to request a refund via Cart Rollers Refund Coupon, which must be indicated when you request for a return online or by calling our Customer Service.Otherwise, you can be refunded according to the following table.   • What is a refund coupon?

CartRollers Refund Coupon is a return mechanism equal to the value of the product you ordered.
You can use CartRollers Refund Coupon as a coupon code to purchase any item. A refund coupon is only valid within 180 days from the date of issuance by us. This refund coupon can be used on several purchases until your balance is 0.

  • How do I use my coupon?
  • If you have been issued a Cart Rollers Refund Coupon, you will have received a coupon number.
    Please enter this coupon number in the coupon code box and click “add coupon” during checkout at the payment step. A corresponding deduction will be applied to your total amount.
  • Kindly note: If you have more than one coupon code, you can only use one code per order.
  • If my returned product is not validated for refund, how do I get informed?

If your return is invalid, we will notify you as stated in our terms and conditions within three (3) days both orally and via written notice through our customer support agents and channels to explain the issue and send the item(s) back to you. We could notify you via our customer support within 3 working days that your return is invalid stating our reasons. After which we shall arrange the delivery of your product back to you. You will be required to pay for the total delivery costs back to you or you come to our advised office for a pickup.

Note that we will make only one attempt to return the product to you. However, after the return attempt, we will cancel the return procedure and we will keep the product with us for a maximum of 60 days for you to pick it up at a designated CartRollers warehouse.

  • I have bought an item on promotion or with a coupon. What amount will you refund me?
  • For items purchased on sale, the amount refunded will be the exact amount paid and not its original value. For example: If you purchased an item on sale for ₦1000 and its original value was ₦2000, we will refund you ₦1000. If you purchased an item with a Refund coupon, we will refund you the sum of the amount you paid and the amount of the CartRollers refund coupon.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR PIN SECURE

When you initially collected your debit card from the bank and you were told to change the default PIN (Personal Identification Number) – provided just to ensure nobody is able to access your account. But there are more ways to secure your PIN and debit card since it is one item that is always attractive to thieves and hackers out there. Here are some interesting steps for you to consider when securing your PIN.

  1. Do not share your PIN

Sharing your PIN is never a good idea, even with the people you tend to trust such as family members or a close friend, reason being the friend or family member could be under some sort of life or harassment to reveal your PIN and when this happens your account security gets unlocked to the wrong set of people. Also, the person you trust could be in a great need at some point and your debit card is the only option to his or her money problem solved, at that point your account security is also bridged. Therefore, it is better not to share your PIN with anyone for any reason.

  1. Do not attend to Email or Phone requests for your PIN

Debit card scammers can go to any length to dupe you for your money and this is majorly by impersonating your bank by sending emails, SMS or phone calls requesting for your PIN. You should always delete, decline or ignore such requests without thinking twice about it because your bank would NEVER request for such information from you.

  1. Protect your PIN while using it

Most of the time while the ATM, there are usually people standing behind you and you are not sure if they have wrong motive of spying your PIN or they just want to use the ATM like you. To be sure of this you need to shield your PIN by using your hand or even with your body so that your card details don’t get revealed. When you protect your PIN, you reduce the success rate of card PIN skimmers.

  1. Use a PIN that can’t be easily guessed

Most of the time you tend to use major events such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc. as the PIN so it is not easily forgotten, this is good but it is not safe and card skimmers who have ideas of such data can easily manipulate their way into using your card with no stress. It is therefore advisable to use dates of non-popular events in your life as your PIN.

  1. Do not write down your PIN anywhere

In the course of trying not to forget your PIN, you might be tempted to write it down somewhere such as the card or on a notebook.
